The Seattle Auto Show ran from November 14th to 17th at the CenturyLink Field Event Center in Downtown Seattle. Like most auto shows, the Seattle Auto Show gave locals and visitors alike something to get excited about. Show participants collectively showcased half a thousand new vehicles - from trucks to cars, SUVs, crossovers, electrics, and hybrids. There were also 75 cars available for anyone to test drive. There were also other activities offered, such as a VIP group tour held by guides, which was participated by both adults and children alike.

Throughout the entire stretch of the event, there were a few that were worthy of a buzz. And with that, we are going to list down the standouts during the Seattle Auto Show.

An Army of Electric Cars

Utah may be following suit in maybe a few years, but for now, Seattle is the arguably the electric car capital of the country. According to the Seattle Times, 42,542 electric vehicles are running around the city of Seattle in 2019. And a small percentage of that was present in the annual car show. People who were looking for the electric alternative were pretty much delighted to see a vast range of different electric cars. The array of electric cars included the Hyundai Ioniq, the Volkswagen e-Golf, and the BMW i8, among others. Experts were on standby on each car to provide information about the cars and also to educate people about switching to electric cars.

For the Fuel-Powered Fans

But of course, not all showgoers were into electric cars. For those who were looking for fuel-powered ones, the Seattle Auto Show also displayed a massive selection of luxury and high-end vehicles. Some of the most notable luxurious in the event were the 2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a 2020 Lamborghini Huracan, and a 2020 McLaren, which wasn't named. Cadillac, BMW, and Volvo were also present during the show.

2020 Ford Explorer Made An Appearance

Considered as the "most popular SUV in the world," the 2020 Ford Explorer made an appearance during this said event. So what's new with the Explorer? After nine years of being a front-wheel-drive, the 2020 model comes back to its rear-wheel-drive roots. Its body is slightly longer, and you can choose between 300 horsepower or the optional 365 horsepower. The entertainment system is compatible with both Android Auto and Apple Carplay. Other features include Ford's Terrain Management System for those who are always on the outdoors.

The 2020 Bentley Continental GT Was Present

If you want to know what a $200,000 car looks like, you probably should have gone to the Seattle Auto Show (that is if you did not). The all-new 2020 Bentley Continental GT was perhaps the most highlighted car of the whole event. The 2020 Continental GT has a new twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter W-12 engine that can go as fast as 626 horsepower. The 2020 Bentley Continental has a more sleek design and can come as either a coupe or a convertible. But only if you have at least $200,000. But if a $200,000-dollar car is still a dream for now, you can just get yourself a pre-inspected used car. You can check some by clicking on the link.
